Jonah yelped in irritation and dismay when the smoke detector in his penthouse started beeping out loud in response to the burnt stir fry chicken and mixed vegetables on his stove. He switched off the electricity and picked up the frying pan before tossing it under running water in the sink. He sighed in defeat when the intercom next to his private elevator started ringing. He ran toward it in a hurry and answered. He explained the situation to the management staff, who had called to check up on him. When it ended, he opened the sliding doors in the living room to let the smoke out before returning to the kitchen to turn off the tap at the sink.
