When I woke up and fell on the ground, I was not expecting to slip on bandages and more so that Ares would rush in like a madman and call my name loudly.
When he found me, he hugged me so tightly that I could feel his heart thumping inside but I was not at all expecting Ares to kiss me like that.
I was feeling fire inside me, as he kissed me like that. I was shocked for the first few moments but when realisation clicked, I moved my lips against his.
The sparks, the tingles, the warmth, the sensation and just everything about that kiss was making me want to feel more of it. I was just beginning to feel it and cherish it when I started to feel lightheaded and in need of oxygen.
I pulled away, wanting to breathe. I just wanted to tell him that we needed to pause
