As I rushed into the room, I got worried every passing moment. Ani was in labour and I was her midwife. I didn’t know who to mind-link for help.
Me – Ares! Ani is in labour, I need help. I mind-linked the only person I knew.
Ares – I’ll send the help. He responded and I shut the link. I pushed the door open and saw her struggling and screaming in pain.
“Ani! Don’t worry, help is coming. Just hold on.” I encouraged her and she nodded through gritted teeth.
“Vin…” She called out.
Me – Vincent, Ani is in labour. Come to the hospital soon. I mind-linked him and he responded in agreement. Soon, there were people, helping Ani up on a stretcher.
