"Hark! The beast wanders amongst you, raging fire and torment upon this world, only the Guardian can s*******r it, once he finds the infinity mind..." Brother Farid woke up suddenly from a trance. He was sitting on a chair watching Dmitri- who was fast asleep. He heard these strange words spoken to him in his dream but his eyes were open- a strange vision! He was used to getting visions while meditating but this was different- he saw a bright light in front of his eyes that spoke to him and warned him about the darkness. The last time he had such an intense vision was before Johnny was discovered and trained as a Guardian. But what could it mean, he wondered. What's the infinity mind? He remembered something about one ancient guardian being able to harness so much power that he single handedly subdued the darkness- until he was betrayed by his own kin and murdered. He had read about this in an ancient book but he thought it was only a story. But he knew that there must be a reason that he had this vision now, it must be linked to Johnny somehow. Maybe Johnny was about to face an unbeatable force of darkness- maybe he could be like the ancient ones and access more powers. But how? He realised that the answers can only be found in that old book which would be very hard to find. The church had a small library of important books but small would be an understatement- there were literally thousands of books to forage through before he could find the one with the story. Seeing that Dmitri wouldn't wake up until morning, he left him tied to his chair and closed the door behind him and went looking for the book in the library. It was almost 4:00 am now... Meanwhile, in the woods, the police officers were carefully approaching the cabin, looking for Lisa. "This is the only place she could come to, Bob! The footprints lead here-" said Rufus, one of the policemen. "Dang it! I don't like the looks of this Rufus, let's just turn back- nobody's inside anyway-" replied Bob. "Wait! You smell that? It smells like food- oh! someone's definitely in there-"said Rufus taking out his gun. "Should we knock?"asked Bob taking out his gun. Rufus was already on the front porch and Bob was a few steps behind him. The wooden floor creaked under his footsteps, He knocked on the door twice still pointing his gun - "Anybody in there?"he shouted but no reply, it was eerily silent. "We should check the back- C'mon!"said Rufus and went around the back, Bob followed him reluctantly. Thelma, the witch, was annoyed at the unannounced visitors who interrupted her meal. She tied Lisa's mouth with a piece of old cloth and holding the knife in her hand, she went towards the backdoor. Lisa groaned and struggled but her voices drowned inside the room. "Who could live like this? In the middle of nowhere?"whispered Bob. Rufus reached the backdoor and looked around, there was no sign of anyone. Suddenly Bob jumped and almost let out a cry- "Shh... What are you doing?"whispered Rufus. "I think I saw a snake-"replied Bob nervously. Rufus shook his head in frustration and pushed on the door, trying to open it. To his amazement, the door easily fell open and Rufus shone his light and he saw Thelma- who was standing in the darkness holding a knife and smiling at them- "Fee fie fo fum- I smell the blood of two policemen-" she giggled hysterically. "What the- Who are you?"Rufus stuttered. The old woman screamed and jumped at them with her knife. Bob and Rufus backed off as fast as they could but she caught Rufus by his collar and stabbed him twice. Bob almost wet himself and he nervously fired two shots at her. The bullets did no harm to her and they simply bounced off her skin. Rufus collapsed on the ground bleeding profusely. And then she turned towards Bob. He fired again, this time firing almost the entire round. But the witch kept approaching him with her bloody knife, grinning and laughing- her laugh echoed through the forest. Bob threw his gun at her in frustration and ran away as fast as he could but the witch was faster. In a fraction of a second, she managed to get ahead of him and block his way. Bob paused and yelled in terror- "What the hell are you?" "I am HELL !!" she said and threw the knife at his chest. The knife stuck into his heart and he fell down groaning in pain... Lisa heard the yelling and the gunfire and she struggled and twisted herself to get free but the invisible ropes got tighter and cut into her skin... Johnathan thought he heard something coming from deep inside the forest, like gunshot but he dismissed the thought thinking he was just hearing things. "Here it is- here begins the dreaded Highway number 66- wait! I see lights up ahead- quick! over there-" said Billy. Johnathan drove quickly towards the source of light. There was indeed a car parked ahead- "That's Lisa's car! She's here- and there's another car- something's definitely going on here-" said Johnathan driving up to Lisa's car. They parked right in front of the cars and immediately got out of the vehicle and started inspecting the cars. "Her car's locked- she must be close by-" remarked Johnathan. "That is definitely a police car- what is going on?" Billy said. They both looked around cluelessly, trying to find anything that would lead them to the owners of the vehicles but nothing- they had no idea where they went or where to begin their search. Johnathan went back to his vehicle and took his sword and strapped it to his back. "You go left- I'll go right, we'll meet here within half an hour- time your watch-"said Johnathan "It's better we stick together- we don't know what's out there-"replied Billy. "We don't have time- we can cover more ground this way- we call each other if we find something- let's move!" said Johnathan and dashed off towards the right side of the highway that led towards the dense forest
