"It's okay. I just accidentally broke the vase." Hermione bent down to pick up the broken porcelain pieces.
"Let me deal with them. They will hurt your hand." Bryson quickly walked into the bathroom and pulled Hermione aside. He put the phone on the sink before he bent over to deal with the broken pieces.
He even forgot to hang up the phone.
Hermione handed over a trash can and warned, "Be careful."
"It's fine. I have tough hands." Bryson picked up a few large pieces and threw them into the trash can.
"I highly doubt that." Hermione squatted down next to him and helped pick up the other pieces.
Bryson stopped her. "I was bad-tempered and loved to throw things for the past two years. You must be devastated seeing me like that."
In recalling what she had gone through for those years,
