It is a beautiful sunny morning in Hong Kong. I was getting ready for office. My office which is a multi national company and it is an advertisement company. For the last 5 years, my company has been achieving success and our company is now all over the world. I wore my tye and my shirt as I looked myself in the mirror. I put my coat on when I heard a knock on my room door. "Yes?" I said. "Austin, mom is making breakfast. She said to wake Ayumi," I heard my youngest sibling said. "Okay," I said as I sighed and looked at my room. My whole room was filled with photos. The photos of me and my family. I smiled when I saw our family photo. It has been so long time since we moved to Hong Kong. Even though we are originally from USA, but, we found my mom in Hong Kong and after that we settled in Hong Kong. My mom, Jasmin Tennyson, is my step mom but she never thought of me as her step son. She loves me more that my own mom. Remembering my own mom makes my heart fillied with coldness. It has been years since my real mom and dad got divorced but, I still couldn't forget how she treated me and Ayumi, my twin sister. She never deserved to be my mom. Never. I love my step mom and she means the world to me. "Austin! Wake Ayumi!" I heard mom saying from downstairs. "Okay mom," I said as I got out of the room and went to Ayumi's room. Ayumi's room was fillied with pink wall and pink carpet. Her bed had pink sheet and goodness, she is such a girl girl. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my sister but she is just exact opposite of me. She is so girly and she is always into finding a boyfriend. It is as if her number 1 goal is her life is to fall in love. I sighed. Girls now a days. I went near Ayumi and saw her cuddling with her blanket. "Ayumi!" I said as I shaked her a bit. "Austin, go away. Let me sleep," Ayumi muttered. "Ayumi, mom is cooking breakfast. She wants you in the dining table," I said. "No Austin. I want to sleep a bit more," she winned. I sighed as a plan popped in my brain. I smirked as I said, "Ayumi, oh goodness! Seams like your make up is all ruined. Oh no, there is a cute guy in our house. How are you going to meet him now?" Ayumi jumped out of the bed and started to fix my her hair. "Oh my goodness! My make up is ruined . . . My poor lovey hair . . . Oh no . . . Wait a minute, I don't wear make up while sleeping and you would never introduce me to a cute guy . . . Then . . ? Austin! You tricked me!" She yelled as she was fuming wih anger. I burst into laugh. "Sorry, cupcake," I laughed as I called her by her nickname. "You i***t, Austin!" Ayumi yelled as she threw a pillow at me. I laughed. "No need to get angry now, baby sister. Get ready for your university. I will drop you off to your university and then I will go to my work." "Whatever," she said as she went to the washroom. Ayumi is in the 4th year of university and she is becoming a makeup artist. I was in the university too, but when I was in highschool, I did my summer classes and graduated highschool in 2 years and then went to university and did my summer and night school in university and graduated university in 2 years. That is how, I am currently working in a company where Ayumi is still going to her university. I went downstairs as I saw my twin siblings, Ella and Ethan fighting with eachother in the living room. Ella and Ethan are interested he 4th year of high school and goodness, my siblings really know how to drown my energy with all prank and stuffs. "Ella, Ethan, why are you guys fighting?" I asked. "Austin! Ella pulled my hair to annoy me!" Ethan complained. "And, Ethan put paint on my hair, Austin," El complained. Goodness! These kids are going to order graduate and it feels like Ella and Ethan are still kids. "Stop fighting and go to the breakfast table," I said, strictly. Even though, I am very chill with my family, I am a very strict person which is why all my siblings always teases me that I will never get a wife or girlfriend. Ella and Ethan ran to the dining table. I went to the dining table and saw Olivia, my youngest sibling, helping mom in her cooking. "Good morning, mom," I said as I hugged mom. "Good morning, Austin," mom hugged me. "Kids, get ready for school, I will drive everybody to school," I heard dad saying from behind. Dad ran downstairs with Ayumi. Ayumi sat on the table while tad went to the kitchen and hugged mom and kissed her forhead and told her good morning. "But dad, I can drop the my siblings . . ." I said. "No son, Juni and I need to talk to you," Dad said. Juni is my mom's nickname. I nodded. We finished breakfast quickly and everybody rushed to the car which was outside of the house. Dad finished his breakfast and said, "Love, I will be back home at night. You can talk to Austin about it." I was confused. What mom and dad need to talk tooneemailabout? "Alright, Mr. Husband," mom laughed as she hugged my dad and my dad gave her a kiss on her lips and got out of the home. I smiled. Even after 25 years of mom and dad's marriage, mom and dad still love one anoher so much. "Mom, what do you need to talk to me about?" I asked. "Oh yeah," mom said as she sighed. "Keep eating. I will tell, you slolwy." I nodded as I kept eating. "So, you are 25 now," mom said, smiling. I smiled, "Yeah." "Sweetheart, I know that you never really chased after girls. It is more likely the other way around. But, I, well, me and your dad thinks that you are now old enough to get yourself a girl," mom said. My eyes wided as I looked at mom. "Mom, you know, I don't want to get married." "Who said about marrying? Austin, we are not going to force you into anything, I promiss," mom said. "I am just saying . . . Maybe, now is the time when you need to think about yourself? Your family?" I sighed as I went near mom and hugged her. "Mom, you know my family is you. You are with me and that is enough." Mom smiled as she pulled my cheeks. "I know, Austin, I know that I value most in your life, but, Austin, may be it is now your time to start a new family?" I looked at my mom's eyes and sighed. "You want me to get married, don't you mom?" "No, sweetheart. I told you. I am not going to force anything on you. It's just that, I want you to be happy with a family of your own." "You know a girl, don't you?" I asked. Mom smiled. "Yeah, she is a nice girl. Her name is Jessica, well, people call her Jes. I was just thinking if you meet her and may be talk to her . . ?" "Anything for you, mom, but now, I need to go to office to work," I said as I hugged day mom and said bye to her and went out of the house.
