1848 Words
“Uncle!” Caleb and Nina both exclaimed as they rushed into Remy's arms and hugged him. Remy smiled at Caleb and Nina as he crouched to meet their height, and Nina smiled at him shyly. “How are you both doing? Where is your mummy?” Remy asked the little children as he finally stared at Caleb's face too. “Good morning, uncle; Mummy is coming,” Caleb answered. "Okay," Remy replied. Jessica walked into her room and changed her nightgown into a brown, respectable gown for a rich woman. She was going to her children's school, and she walked up to her room mirror to examine her looks. Jessica saw that her face looked dull, and she sighed, quickly combed her long blonde hair, and packed it into a bun. She finally took her car key away from the bed drawer top. She took her debit card too, and with her phone along with her, she put it all into her red purse and finally exited the master's bedroom. Walking downstairs into the living room, Jessica gasped in surprise as she saw one of her elder brothers, Remy, had arrived. She hadn't expected to see him show up at her home so early, at that hour in the morning. She knew that her father's mansion wasn't far away from her home, as she lived on the island with Dylan, where the Billionaire family lives. Remy smiled at Jessica as he watched her alight the stairs. He was carrying Nina up in his arms, and he carefully put Nina down to stand on her feet, and he gave Nina the pocket money that she could spend at school. Jessica finally alighted the living staircase and greeted Remy, "Good morning, brother.” “Good morning, baby, sis. How was your night? I can see that you're already taking your kids to school. Where is Dylan?" Remy asked inquisitively. Jessica smiled understandably at Remy, as she didn't want Caleb and Nina to know that their father hadn't returned home the previous night. She replied, “I will be back, brother. Let me first take my kids to school. As yesterday, they missed going to school on time because we woke up late yesterday.” “Jessica…. That doesn't answer my questions. Where is your husband?” Remy repeated his question, and just then, the living room door open while Dylan walked into the living room in his black suit and met all their gazes on him. Jessica smiled from Remy to Dylan and pretended all was fine. She quickly said to Remy, "Dylan is here already, brother... I will be back soon; let me quickly take Caleb and Nina to school.” “Daddy! Daddy!” Caleb and Nina happily rushed towards Dylan and hugged his legs. Even Dylan had a mean look on his face upon seeing Remy in his house. Remy is older than Dylan, with only a year gap. Dylan bent to touch his daughter's soft yellow hair warmly. He asked Nina, "How was your night, Nina?" Jessica approached Dylan to take their two kids to school. Nina answered, "Fine, daddy." “Okay, be a good girl, okay? I came home to take something that I forgot to take yesterday,” Dylan said to his kids as he stood up back and met his gaze with Jessica's expressionless face on him. She finally greeted him and said, “Good morning." Dylan muttered to her, “Morning.” Jessica quickly left the living room with her two kids, as she didn't want to waste any more minutes in there. She knew that it would result in her two children going late to school. And she walked up to her old-fashioned car outside in their garage, as Dylan had six spotless cars parked in their garage. She pulled her old-fashioned car door open and helped Nina and Caleb enter the back seat of the car. She hooked their seatbelts and finally locked up the side door before she entered her driver seat and started the old car engine. She finally drove out silently to her kids' school as silent tears freely streamed down from her eyes. Not wanting to look miserable in front of her children's school teacher, Jessica quickly wiped her tears away from her eyes. And soon she arrived in front of her children's school gate and parked her car in the school parking lot while she escorted her two kids to their respective classes. Jessica didn't want her two children to be sad, so she created a facade that she was fine in their presence and that Dylan was a good daddy. So that her two kids wouldn't be unhappy and think that their father hated them or that he was a wicked man... After Jessica was done giving Nina's school teacher money to buy more ice cream for Nina, she left her children's school and went back to her car, and she finally drove back home in her car. ---- Meanwhile, Dylan was confronted by Remy. As Remy was questioning him, “Where's a family man like you coming back from by this hour of the day? And you left my sister alone to look after your two kids. What happened to the maids?" Dylan ignored responding to Remy's questions as he walked towards the stairs, but Remy yelled at him, "I'm talking to you, Dylan." "Oh! So you now have the guts to walk out on me, right? You simply forgot the time of old when you came begging to marry my sister and how she helped you become the man that you are today?.” The anger in Remy's eyes flashed so clearly red, and Dylan replied, “I'm no longer interested in your sister anymore, Remy! I have already explained it to Jessica. I have another woman now in my life, and she has even been there with me before I met your sister." [Slaps] Remy lost his cool as he heard Dylan mention having another woman, and he landed a hot, resounding slap on Dylan's left cheek. Slap! “You shameless man-w***e! Why didn't you marry the stupid lady that you left my sister for last night before you agreed to marry Jessica? Why did you marry my sister when the f*cking lady was there for you all those years?" Remy glared at Dylan as he pulled Dylan closely to himself by holding onto Dylan's shirt collar, and they stood glaring at each other angrily. “You dare to slap me in my house?” Dylan questions Remy angrily as he stares at Remy's face. Remy pushed Dylan away and spat, “You're an ingrate, and I blame Jessica every day for stooping so low as to marry a useless man like you... And you dare to call my sister fat? Was she like that when you initially married her??” Remy stared back at Dylan with blazing eyes as he folded up his shirt sleeves and prepared for a fight. “You want to kill my sister, right, before her time? You want my only sister to die of depression with you bullying her every day, here in your house, and forgetting that you caused her to become fat like that, right?” Remy spat again as his anger boiled up. Dylan replied, “I didn't cause Jessica to become fat like that. Jessica is too fat and lazy, and she cannot look after herself." Remy got angrier, rushed to Dylan again, and grabbed Dylan by his suit shirt, and the two of them started fighting in the living room. Jessica returned home and gasped as she entered the living room and saw her elder brother and her husband fighting inside the living room. She rushed up to separate the two men and said, “Remy! Remy! Stop! Stay away from my husband.” Jessica is breathing heavily as she finally succeeds in separating the two men from fighting each other. But as she rushed up to meet Dylan to touch him and to know if he was alright, Remy ensured to punch Dylan's face repeatedly as they fought so intensely in the living room. “Are you alright, babe?” Jessica tried to touch her husband's arm, but Dylan shoved her hand away from touching his right arm and warned Jessica, "Stay away from me! And you will leave my home and go back to your father's house tomorrow. As I'm not interested in marrying you again." “Dylan, please don't say that." Jessica looks sober as she crouches in front of Dylan, who is still seated on the tiled floor in the living room and wincing in pain. Dylan stood up from the ground and glared at Remy and Jessica too. He told Jessica, “Get ready to sign the divorce papers and leave me alone, as I don't love you anymore, and this marriage isn't by force.” “Dylan, please don't say that; I'm sorry. Please…" Jessica tried to beg her husband, and Remy was still standing there speechless and angrily in the living room. He glared at Dylan, who stood up from the tiled marble floors in pain. As he rushed to climb the living room stairs to retire back upstairs to the master bedroom, Remy is a cold guy and a trained boxer, too. Even though his father is a billionaire, he's also a billionaire. Remy and Rex know how to fight, and he beats Dylan to a stupor by punching Dylan's face very well for daring to call Jessica “fat.”. If Jessica hadn't rushed into the living room to separate them,. Remy could have broken Dylan's arm, as he was very mad at his brother-in-law. “How dare you beat my husband like that, Remy?? Did I ask you to fight Dylan for me?” Jessica is now angry at her eldest brother and crying too. As Remy is the oldest twin and more brutal than Rex, who usually hides his feelings and keeps an expressionless face too. “Dylan deserves more than just beating Jessica! And you shouldn't have separated us, as he dares to tell me to my face that he has another woman in his life now. Aside from you, and she has even been there before in his life, long before he met you." Remy said, and he saw Jessica shiver away from him in shock as she heard the truth from her brother. Jessica fainted, as she couldn't believe that Dylan had another woman truly in his life now, whom he was in love with. “Jessica! Jessica." Remy screamed out in frustration as he rushed to carry his sister up in his arms. The sound of Remy screaming alerted Dylan to rush downstairs and find out what had happened to his wife, and he saw Remy had carried Jessica up in his arms in bridal style. He rushed out of the house, with Jessica in his arms, and to his car. He took Jessica straight to the hospital, not waiting for Dylan either.
