It took another good five minutes before the Alpha and Luna came rushing into the room where I was still lying on the bed with a massive headache. I had finally gotten some painkillers but they still needed to do their magic. Aiden had been sitting next to me the entire time, and no matter how many people tried to get him back to his own room, he wouldn’t move an inch and would just shoot fire with his eyes at the person who tried to convince him to do so.
The Alpha looked puzzled as he walked in.
“Oh my Goddess, Elizabeth, are you OK?” The Luna came inside the room, following the Alpha as she gasped for air, once she had seen me. Aiden gritted his teeth as he looked at his father.
“Melissa knocked her out to steal her badge, in order to get into my room in the intensive care unit.”
