Schneefernerhaus
The cog railroad train took almost three hours to get from Garmisch to the peak. While they waited at the Garmisch-Partenkirchen station, Glenda reached into her pack and produced a set of black handcuffs. Lucy glanced at her and then at the cuffs, wondering what she had in mind.
“You or me?” Glenda asked with a huge grin. “It’s a long ride and I don’t want you to be bored with nothing but scenery.”
“Won’t the passengers wonder?” Lucy whispered, although there was no one else around the empty, fog-wrapped station.
“Like who?” laughed Glenda. “I really want to keep you bound and to myself, so take your arms out of the parka and put them behind your back, love. The ride will be far more interesting.”
