Lucy tried in vain to find a position, any position, to ease the pain in her various clamped, cuffed and impaled body parts. The swinging cage allowed almost no movement and even her fingers and toes were now immobilized, her tongue was horribly pierced and held out by a thick steel pin that was linked to the brank’s frame.
