Chapter 4: Shivering and LonelyTristan muttered as he carried the frozen food outside. He was tempted to drop it down in the snow right outside the door, but after some consideration, he carried it into the shed. He didn’t want to attract any predators. It wouldn’t surprise him if the electricity came back on in less than thirty minutes, simply because he’d gone to the trouble of trying to prevent his food being ruined. He didn’t want to take any chances. The winter three years ago, he’d assumed the food would be fine in the freezer until the electricity came back on, but they’d been without for a week, and he’d had to toss most of it. Too bad on such fine meat, not to mention all the chanterelles he and Og had picked during the autumn. He took a piss behind the shed before he returned i
