Prologue
A road accident had plunged Sam Mulder suddenly right into a world filled with darkness and utter silence.
(Yup, it's just a normal trope where you can find in other novels but I just made mine into a single sentence. LOL...!)
Sam was currently hooked up to a life support machine in an Intensive Care Unit in one of the local hospitals here after the ambulance had brought him over to the Accident & Emergency.
There, the ER medical staffs began to prep and work on Sam, as they stabilised his vitals and had several of the monitoring systems hooked up on him.
His civilian clothes were removed from him and changed into a sterile garb as he was sent to the operating theatre, as his life's journey did not end there as he was brought to another dimension, or should we say, to be given another chance in life.
Through that dimension, Sam would undergo several transmigration leaps in his life, taking over the body and soul of the person he had transmigrated in.
His soul and mind would remain who he is but his appearance would take the one whom he had transmigrated in. In other words, it's like a body switch as he would change the fate and destiny of the life he had taken over.
A system, a holographic form that looked human-like would be accompanying him during his trips until it was taken over by another form that would eventually embed within him. This occurrence would take some time before it actually happens.
His transmigration leap, may it be in the past or the distant future, may it be in England or even in South East Asia, would determine the fate and destiny Sam would enliven in his everyday life.
This happened when Sam nearly lost his life at the age of 47.

The bright and glaring morning sun was desperately peeking through the foliage above me as the sun rays began to play hide and seek among the lush leaves overhead.
The sun rays fell over my body and gave me a sense of warmth one would feel if I had gone sunbathing in the warmer parts of England.
The chirping sounds of cicadas were slowly fading away in the distance, looking for places to hide away from the daylight, to seek refuge or simply to get away from its predators, perhaps.
The subtle sounds of the waves breaking near the shores nearby were soft as if it was trying to lull me back into my slumberous state. It was rather dreamy and I felt that this was just right and peaceful for me.
Seagulls were cawwing nearby as they flitted and hovered near the breaking waves and then slowly descended on the soft and white sandy beach, searching for morsels that the waves had brought to shore along with clumps of seaweed and other whatnot.
I subconsciously raised my hand against my eyes to avoid the glaring sun and find that the spectacles that I usually wear were not on the bridge of my nose anymore.
"Eh? I thought that my glasses were on my nose earlier... Hmm, maybe I had taken them off and did I forget to switch off the lights of my room? How come there's the sound of nature? Does it come from my mobile phone or from the laptop that's playing those sounds to help me sleep? "
I wondered to myself as I rolled about and trying to find my pillow to cover my face as I knew that the alarm from my phone would eventually go off at the precise time for me to wake up.
I rubbed the unfamiliar feeling over my sleepy eyes and squinted as I tried to focus. As my eyes slowly adjusted to the glare of the sun and its surrounding, I discovered that I no longer needs my myopic lenses to see either at a distance or just ahead of my nose.
"Where the hell am I? Why is my room suddenly felt so open and bare? Gosh... Did I binge drinking last night with my colleagues after work?"
"Gosh...! I don't remember even touching a drop of those for quite some time already...! How the hell I end up sleeping outdoors and where the fark is my phone...?!?! " I thought to myself as I frantically felt around my area and found the everything felt so unfamiliar...!
The last thing I remembered was me getting sideswiped by a car while overtaking on the other side of the lane, before losing control of my scooter and the next thing I knew is that everything went blank. There's no partying and definitely no binge drinking afterwards...!
I sat myself up and took several moments to recover before my eyes adjusted to my surroundings as I looked down at my hands and clenched and unclenched my fists.
I had no recollection of being in this state and environment. "What had happened just now? How the hell I ended up in this place?" I thought as I looked at my upper and lower extremities and found nothing was broken or injured nor even find a single abnormality when suddenly I find myself draped in some kind of weird clothing, looking somewhat like a pair of pyjamas.
It seemed that I was not involved in any kind of accident and am sure that I had not been drunk last night and definitely I am not in my room at all right now...!
My eyes scanned across my surroundings and found myself sitting and leaning on a makeshift A-frame shelter made from vertically placed branches and covered with dried coconut leaves to provide ample shade from coastal rain and wind.
From the looks of it, it was as if being made by a hobo who lived on beachfront property and enjoying the free 'waterfront' view of his home. A free and luxurious piece of property to sunbathe and fish during his free time...!
I ran my fingers subconsciously underneath me and discovered that I was sitting on some fine white sand and on top of the sandy ground was dried moss gathered to provide a type of simple bedding and cushion to lie on.
Upon inspecting my attire I was wearing that time, I was half expecting that I am still wearing my jeans with my tank top and covered with a bright green coloured windbreaker that I usually wore when I am off riding but I discovered that right now I was wearing a kind of matching cotton 'pyjamas' with knee-length pants for men (dark yellow long sleeve collarless single button pocketed shirt and loose pants) with a wooden sheathed weapon about 12 inches in length lay beside me.
"Sheesh...! What kind of weird clothes am I wearing right now? These clothes are not meant to be worn outdoors and it is befitting for bedtime! Guys...! Return me my jeans and tank top...! I feel freaking hot in these...!" I said cried aloud and hoping to find someone familiar to be jumping out from a bush and laughingly returns me my clothes back...!
"And what a weird looking weapon," as I unsheathed the weapon and found that it is wavy with 7 "waves" made with a kind of metal that looked somewhat like a stabbing type of dagger.
The edges are blunt only the tip was sharp so I presumed this weapon is meant for stabbing rather than slashing. I picked it up and carried it along with me. The weapon, which I later discovered, was called a "keris".
Gazing out towards the sea, I realized that there were no vessels around as far as I can see and there was a small beaten path that represented that men had been walking through it a numerous number of times that leads from the A-frame shelter and cuts through the vegetation right into the unknown.
The sea was calm and there were some wooden paddle boats along the shore, presumably used by the hobo to paddle out and catch some fish, I guess.
"H-E-L-L-O...! Anyone out there? Where the hell is this place and Goddammit... I feel so warm in these clothes...Grrr... Come on guys, quit it. Game is over now...!" I hollered out and somehow got no reply which I had already deduced.
Without a doubt, when I looked at this trail, I discovered that it would lead to somewhere, a place where answers could be found to my numerous questions that are boggling in my brain right now.
Looking up above the foliage, I discovered that it's not even noon as the weather around it feels right for a trek through the undiscovered territory.
"I don't know how and I don't know why I ended up in this state. Maybe this is all part of a dream or someone put me on hypnosis and I now find myself in unfamiliar place and grounds."
"Maybe I didn't crash earlier and all this is just a freaking dream," I thought to myself as I looked around to see that I was near the beach, and the A-frame that I was sitting up was close to a border of trees and there are quite a few familiar trees that I could name.
I raised myself up slowly; dusted my butt from the loose sand and stood up while looking at my bare feet.
"What...??? No shoes...???" After looking around and cursing aloud, I soon found a pair of open-toed leather sandal that was near a fireplace which I presumed belong to me as I put them on.
The feeling was unfamiliar, the surroundings were really unfamiliar and the weather was freaking sweltering...!!!
I looked at myself and I just noticed that I had become quite tanned quite considerably. I knew that my feet were a size 10 and the open-toed leather slippers that I am wearing right now is only like size 7½ or something.
Then I discovered that the hair on my arm was not ash grey in colour but was black. I tugged at my hair and brought it forward (it's long hair) and discovered that it was black as well...!
Somehow I felt as if something was not right but I couldn't put my finger on it.
For now...
