I stirred beneath the covers, the soft warmth of my bed cocooning me in comfort as I drifted in and out of sleep. It was peaceful, the kind of sleep that made the world melt away, where nothing mattered except the softness of the pillow beneath my head. But then, the nagging feeling hit, one that couldn’t be ignored no matter how tired I was. I needed to pee. With a groan, I shifted, stretching out my arms, my fingers brushing against the edge of the blanket as I rubbed at my eyes.
