Just as the door closed behind Lia, the muffled sounds of quarreling outside caught my attention. Someone was querying Lia outside my door and it was the voice of a female. I couldn't make out the words at first, but the sharp tone of the other woman's voice made it clear that things were getting heated. Curious, I moved closer to the door, pressing my ear against it to hear better.
"I’ve been watching you for a while now, Lia," the unknown voice hissed. "There just seems to be something you are doing with this Ayra girl. What have you been doing with her, huh? Now tell me, what exactly have you been doing in Ayra’s room for this long? I know when you left the quarters so you better not lie."
