I opened my eyes and looked beside me. Abby was fast asleep, snoring lightly.
The room was a bit dark for my liking and I can't risk switching on any mode of light. I took my phone which was placed on charge and tiptoed my way to the veranda.
I cringed on opening the lock and paused when it made a squeaking sound. I turned and looked at her for a few seconds. She remained still and I breathe out a relief before opened the veranda and walking out.
