Her voice came out barely audible, tickling my ears ever so slightly as I processed the words she laid out bare. The time seemed to pause as they sunk in, confusion mixed with instant anger coursing through my veins, but I had no way to express that feeling. I was aware that I was glaring down at her, with deadly cold eyes and that my tone was harsh and unforgiving as I spoke.
