Carter's POV-
"Get her the f**k out of here." Ryker was trying to urge her on but she wouldn't move. I needed her away so I could focus on the wolf that attacked her. He was unfamiliar to me and I wanted him alive to answer questions. I finally saw all three of them walking away, but I could still hear her faint whimpers. Now that she was heading back to the house, I went into full on fight mode. I managed to pin the attacker and bite down on his scruff, leaving him temporarily paralyzed from a pressure point. I was larger than him, so I kept my grip and began to drag him back through the woods. I could smell her blood everywhere, and knew she was injured bad.
