Chapter Five
“Daddy, it’s time for the evening news,” Ergée said loudly.
“You don’t have to scream. Daddy can hear you just fine if you talk normally. He is right here in the kitchen,” Ornée said to Ergée.
“Daddy, what are you doing in the kitchen? Aren’t you supposed to be in your study reading some papers before the news bulletin?”
“Honey, daddy is drinking some water,” replied Brutch
“Come watch the news. It’s time for the evening news.”
“Thanks honey but daddy’s got a lot to read tonight. I will watch the late night news.”
“Okay dad,”
“Aren’t you sure you aren’t going to watch the news?” Ornée asked to make sure.
“I said I will watch the later one,” he replied grumpily soon after he finished drinking the water and left the kitchen for his study.
