Neither said much on the ride to Dustin’s, and he preferred the quiet. He wasn’t ready to confront the elephant in the room just yet, wanting to focus on the plane today. Soon, after scarfing down burgers and fries, they sped along the highway. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d slept in so late. It made him feel lazy. Getting closer to thirty, he’d grown out of the whole party-all-night, sleep-all-day phase, but it had been worth it to wake up in Raf’s arms. “What’s the plan today?” “First we need to jack up the plane.
