Diane's POV “I can't believe he dismissed it so blatantly!” I exclaimed into the empty room, fuming to myself. I had woken up this morning on the Alpha's bed and had quickly snuck into my room without getting the attention of anybody in the house. That, was simply because I did not want to become a topic of gossip among the pack members, although I was more embarrassed at the thought of him waking up to find me in his bed. I had watched him step into the dining hall this morning and he had barely spared me a glance, but what made it all worse was his reply when I had finally mustered the courage to face him. “No, I have nothing to say,” I mocked in a bitter voice. Truthfully, I was not expecting flowers or a declaration of love. All I requested was an acknowledgment, but it appears
