“I'm sorry for your loss.” I announce with an emphatic tone, resting against the counter top.
“The moon goddess knows best.” She answered with a sad smile.
A couple of days had passed since I had seen that horrible sight in the dungeon.
After that day, I had been staying away from Ryan and his beta. It is not out of fear or anything of the sort, but I have become cautious after coming to the realization of how dangerous they could be, Ryan especially.
Since then, I had taken to accomplishing my plans in a different method, which entailed digging for information about the pack. And which other way could I do that than meet the pack members themselves.
