Diane’s POV.
I sat on my bed replaying the incident in my head for the umpteenth time. Alpha Ryan had returned to the carriage later on and when I had asked him what went down he resufed to give me a direct answer.
He said he’d assign maids to get me all my stuff when we return to the pack house and all I’d need to do was give them my sizes. I had asked him why we didn’t just do that in the first place and he gave no response. I feel asleep shortly later but just before I did he responded, saying he just wanted to spend time with me.
Alpha Ryan had probably thought I was asleep then, I wasn’t sure he knew if I had heard him. Though, I wondered why he had said that, why would he want to spend time with me? Why would him saying that make me feel different?
