Diane’s POV.
In the silence, I heard the thud as the wolf was thrown off my body and slammed into the ground. There was a buzzing sound, then accompanied by a snarl before loud whimpers filled the air.
The gates had been broken open already and two men climbed onto the ring and lifted the wolf, allowing me to see two other men I had missed their entrance. They were probably the ones that got it off me.
As I watched them part, a pair of legs came into my vision. I didn’t need to look up to know who it was. Slowly lifting my head, I looked up at Alpha Ryan. I didn’t know what I expected from him, maybe disappointment, shame, anger? What I didn’t expect was the worried look in his eyes.
