Diane’s POV.
“Why do you prefer local rides?” I tried to break the awkward silence between us.
We were currently in a carriage carrying us to the pack’s centre where the marketplace and other commercial businesses were. We hadn’t spoken a word to each other since we stepped foot inside here and Alpha Ryan had spent most of his time staring out the window in deep thoughts.
“There are fewer risks and pollution involved and I also just find it relaxing.” He responded whilst staring out of the window.
I nodded my head, but I knew he couldn’t see me, so I hummed in response. He moved suddenly and I jumped slightly in my seat causing him to stop moving.
“My bad.” He looked at me, slowing his movements, as he fastened his shoelace.
