I woke up with a loud gasp, my eyes opening as I realized that the image of me getting ripped apart by rogues was a nightmare.
“Mm,” I groaned as I pressed a hand against my forehead, which banged and ached as if a blunt object was being used to hit me.
“What is this place?” I asked myself, having no answer as my eyes started to adjust to the dimness of the room I had been put in.
With as much care as I could muster, I hoisted myself up and sat back against the hard bed I had been lying on, leaning against the cold wall behind me and looking around for a sign of anybody.
