I closed my eyes, focusing on Charles' skin beneath my hands, and on his heavenly scent. I focused so much on him and on this moment. I pushed every other thought out of my head, trying to enjoy this magical place with him.
I opened my eyes to find Charles gone. I was still in the pool but the sun was up now. It's ray's reflected off the water brightly. I looked around confused.
Had I fallen asleep? Did Charles leave me?
I scanned the forest until my eyes landed on a large black wolf. The sun showed those blue and purple hues so well. I recognized the wolf as our eyes met.
"Gunner?" I asked, as I climbed out of the pool towards him.
'Rain?' he questioned back, noticing me for the first time. 'You did it!' He jumped with excitement.
