Friday
Tonight is Derek's classmate's birthday party—a pool party where only a few freshmen and some sophomores are allowed.
Ally and Sam worked out their issues on Wednesday, so they're good now, but Claire is furious with Sam and won’t hang out with him anytime soon.
Tomorrow is my first date with Asher. Dad is thrilled and warns that if Asher hurts me, he won't make it to college. Mason is still uneasy about it and might follow us.
“Mia, where’s my soccer jersey?” Matt shouts.
“I don’t know; you put it in the dirty clothes basket on Tuesday,” I reply.
“And Dad has already left,” he sighs.
I continue removing my curlers to let my hair fall long and curly. Today, I wear my cheer uniform with a blue jacket, just like Ally and Gloria.
