I send the message and then shove my phone back into my jeans. I quick-walk all the way to campus without stopping.
Shit…I am so late.
I walk to my office to find a few of my students waiting for me. They usually come to me for consultations and support.
Damn, I wonder how they’ve been waiting for me. I’m usually never late.
I greet them and the open the door so they can walk in. My phone dings in my pants and I ignore it. It dings again. I pull it out and then put it on silent as I give my students my full attention. Once they are gone pull my phone out hoping B
