Tlou
The waves wash over the beach dragging sand and small debris as they pull back into the ocean. I watch them repeatedly feeling their calming motion wash over me, as the scent of the ocean fills my lungs. I don’t know for long I’ve been sitting there. But most of the lights in houses along the beach were turned off, and all that was left was the few streets lights dotting the street. They’re farther back from the beach making it semi-dark and eerily beautiful. The beauty doesn’t distract me from the thoughts that I’ve held at bay since I woke up and saw Luna with Tau in the kitchen. A small smidgen of hope had bloomed within me at the sight of them. But…when she’d left me sitting on that couch to go to her room. I could feel the invisible rift I had created between us grow bigger.
