I halted and turned abruptly, Addison shuddered as she saw me in front of her, she wasn’t expecting that I would stop. She bit her lower lips and gazed down. “Look, it's not like I don’t want to give it a try, I can’t just gamble with the brand that I built and created with my sweat. It’s fine that you have faith in the new product, but that’s not the only thing needed.” I explained and placed my hand on her shoulder, she was silent all the while as she let out a deep sigh. “I also have much faith in the new product” I uttered suddenly, she looked up at me with hopefulness, “then why can’t we give it a try, it will help the store to get a new look” she asserted in a persuasive tone, I scoffed. It seems to me that trying to get Addison to understand some mere fact will be hard, I thought to myself shaking my head dishearteningly.

“Listen, you’re still naive to understand these things, accepting the offer of Mr. Baldwin involves many things. Although we might get a huge sale as you said, you’d remember there are losses. Rey grandeur might lose its market value which means we failed to get the contract and also lose everything I have worked for” I let out, she widened her stunned at what I had revealed. She must have thought that everything would remain the same after I had failed to get the ten billion sales Mr. Baldwin had demanded. I swirled my head pitifully, waved down a cab, and entered it. “Hey! Are you going to stand there forever?” I inquired with sarcasm and focused my gaze on the road. Addison returned from trance and hopped into the car, soon the driver accelerated the car and took us to the store, I quickly went up to my store grove and sat down tiredly.

Shortly after Addison arrived with a cup of coffee, “Miss Audrey, I think I have an idea. It will easily assist in getting more sales” she asserted with a happy face, I rolled my eyes and paid no attention to her. Addison has always been so decisive but this time, I’m not going to listen to her, that’s pure gambling. I took the cup of coffee and stirred it slowly before gulping the content.

“I’ve analyzed everything, I know you’re afraid of falling behind and losing your hard work. Miss Audrey, remember that I’ve been the one by your side throughout the opening of the store, I also wish the store well. If it goes worldwide I would also benefit tremendously and I would be hurt if it suffers losses” she continued to say, I remained silent, placed the cup on the table, took my phone, and scrolled through it. Addison continued to explain that she had discovered that opening a social media handle for Rey Grandeur is a good move for the store, she further explained that if the new design gets enough exposure we would probably sell out everything.

I stood up from the seat and strode to the glass window, staring at the white cloud. I'd really need exposure and vogue is the only way I can think of, I carefully thought of all she had said and found it interesting. However, I was scared to take a step, and after much deliberation, I ended up accepting to give it a try.

“Yes! This is the spirit. We will definitely make it through” Addison jumped for joy as she was excited. I chuckled, sat back on the seat, and wondered why she was so happy, whereas I was not moved? She threw herself on the seat while placing her hand on the table, which snapped me out of thought. I arched my brows, giving her a questioning glare.

“Uhm.. I’ve made a business plan about managing the social page for Rey Grandeur, you can go through it when you feel like” she asserted as she pushed a file towards me. “I will leave if there is nothing else” I nodded, motioning her to leave, it was already time to get off work and I’ve got no reason to make her stay. She bowed curtly and left. I heaved a sigh of relief and relaxed my back. Hopefully, this idea of Addison would work out pretty well. Thirty minutes after she had left, I packed up my things, locked the store, and went back home.

Stepping into the villa, I threw my bag onto the couch and sat down. I opened the file that was given to me by Addison and scrolled through it. “Brilliant plan” I whispered unknowingly as I was amazed by the proposal she had provided.

“How would I get an influencer? I’d have asked Aubrey to model the new outfits of Rey Grandeur, but I don’t want my family to get involved on my way to success. It would also affect the publication and sales.” I hissed and kept the file. “I need a model!” I muttered sternly lost in thought.

“Rumble!” My belly groaned, snapping me out of thought, “I guess I will continue this at the office. Now I have to make dinner” I asserted, got up from the seat, and moved to the kitchen. Shadow and Ryan that were standing in the corner moved into the living room and sat down on the sofa. “Ryan, I think we should give up. It has been two weeks since she moved, and she is not even scared of Ariel or you. How are we going to make her leave?” Shadow inquired with a devastated tone. Ryan thought about it and realized that I was the only buyer that has stayed for two weeks and that pissed him off. His face abruptly turned gloomy but he remained calm, he gazed at the corner and saw a black file laying on the couch. He grabbed it and scrolled through the content.
