“Here are the photos of the apartment available in Boston. I think you should see the apartments in the Newbury streets” taking in what he said while checking out the apartments, I nodded in agreement and followed him out of the coffee shop. Arriving at Newbury street Boston, the agent showed me the apartments that were not to my taste. I groaned inwardly, already tired as I found the apartments boring and unappealing. “Mr. Gomez, I believe we should stop here, we’ve already checked the available apartments in Newbury but none is to my taste. I can’t risk spending all the day but ended up getting nothing, I’d suggest we check another street in Boston” I uttered. “Be calm Miss Audrey, I’ll show you the last apartment then we can proceed to another street” I agreed fervently, giving him one more chance isn’t bad I thought as I followed behind him. “Wow!” I gasped amazed at the structure of the apartment. This is probably what I needed, a well-furnished apartment with a private beach. I can also invite Andrew over and have a romantic dinner at the beach “this is perfect! I wonder what took you so long to bring me here?” I asserted with a large grin. “Miss Audrey, you wouldn’t blame me, you know. I think as a graduating student you would prefer a cheaper apartment that suits your income. However, it seems like I’m overthinking it” I nodded in agreement, wondering why he would think that I’d go for the low budget. Never mind, I’ll get this done with and go back to school. “Mr. Gomez, I’d like to take this apartment.” “A hundred thousand dollars Miss Audrey” I hissed, feeling pathetic as I was scared that it would cost a fortune. Unfortunately, it’s not up to my daily allowance, I believe the universe is on my side leading me towards my dream. Mr. Gomez took me to the lawyer Derrick who was in charge of the apartment. I made a direct p*****t to the lawyer, Derrick, settled all the formalities and left with the key. “This is a perfect way to achieve my dream” I smiled as I waved my hand to a cab attempting to get his attention. “Harvard University” I asserted as I stepped into the car. Shortly, the driver pulled over in front of the college, I paid the bill and strode inside the college humming happily. Stepping into the hostel, I met Myra already dressed up and about to leave, I walked past her and threw myself on the bed feeling exhausted. I never thought that getting an apartment would be this stressful. I groaned softly as all my body was aching from walking to a different area in search of a nice apartment. Slowly I dozed off, “bang!” I felt a kick on my feet that made me sprang up from the bed. I swirled to the right where Myra was standing and rubbed my eyes, she sneered and stared at me with vicious intent. “Come on Myra, I’m not in for your bickering, just let me be” I asserted and lay back on the bed. “I’d suggest you get your ass off that bed and get yourself ready for the party or I would s***k you to death” she threatened, I grunted as I cursed slightly. “Look, Myra, I can’t get off this bed. My body aches badly from searching for an apartment, I need a good rest to recover from the stress” I massaged my temple while still laying on the bed. “Omg Audrey, look there is a spider on the bed” she muttered alarmed. My eyes flutter open as I jump off the bed. “Where is it?” I inquired, hiding behind her back. She chuckled and turned to me, “finally I got you out of the bed. Now go get ready let’s leave” I stared at her with a creased brow, annoyed that she fooled me and now I had no other choice than to heed to her, rather she would make things worse for me. I hissed and shoved her aside as I angrily strode to the washroom. I had a hot bath attempting to rejuvenate my strength. I wonder who I offended to have such a roommate, she is crazy! I hurriedly dried my body and distinctly wore the first dress I set my eyes on in the closet and walked into the room. “What the heck Audrey? I can’t believe you want to attend the party dressed like a nun” she scolded with fury and dragged me into the closet. Myra made me wear short pants that slightly reached my thigh with a white crop top and a black knee boot. I don’t know what has gotten into Myra that made her insist that I should attend the senior prom. I’m automatically drained and I need to be in bed. “I know what you must be thinking, I believe you should get that off your mind. This is one of our dreams, graduating from Harvard, and now this time to celebrate our success and you want to back out? That’s impossible Audrey, I won’t let you ruin our last day as seniors” she did my hair and nudged me to stand up, I rolled my eyes as I stood, checking myself in the big mirror. Not looking, I thought and turned to Myra, “I believe it’s time to leave, remember! I won’t be out for long” she nodded and gripped my arm as we stepped out of our hostel. We hailed a cab to the new Pub in town. “Thank you mister” Myra asserted as we stepped out of the cab, looking around the Pub, I found it very nice and soothing. The owner must have spent a lot in building and managing the Pub. I flinched as I felt a tug on my arm. “Let’s go” she uttered and dragged me in, I was awestruck, the structures and the facilities of the new Pub are amazing. These are the things I can easily recognize as a designer. “Don’t stand there! Our table is over here” Myra screamed as the buzzing music inside the Pub was making it hard to understand her words. I followed her closely, shortly we were already at the long table which I presumed was for the outgoing senior.
