Raven's POV
The walk back to recovery seems endless. I try to memorize the turns that we take so I can find my way back out. First, we take a left and then another left and then a right. After a while, I lose track of the turns that we have taken. I don't understand why every hospital has to be a maze.
Finally, we come to a set of double doors that are labeled recovery. The orderly stops in his tracks before using his badge to open the door. He shuffles awkwardly on his feet as he looks at me.
"This probably isn't my place but I have to warn you," he tells me. "Alpha Leo is in rough shape. It may be hard for you to see him like this."
"I can handle it," I say trying to sound confident but even I can hear the nervousness in my voice.
