Adjusting to the routine in my new pack was smoother than I expected. Except for a few pack members, everyone was very nice and welcoming towards me from the start, mostly because they were extremely fond of my mate. However, as the days went by, I realized they started liking me for me. Luke, Jasper, and Sasha were a fun group to hang around with, and I was glad they had accepted me into their pack. Although I still missed Megan and my mom, it was easy to distract myself with work. I loved spending the weekdays in Dario’s office, learning about pack business while I helped him organize his tasks.
However, my favorite day was by far Sunday, when I got to spend a lot of alone time with my mate.
