The following days were a lot calmer. After almost two weeks of intensive training, we were all feeling a lot more adjusted to our new roles, which allowed the former Gamma’s daughter to solely focus on her Delta duties. Since no other wolf had occupied the position throughout Diamond Tempest’s history, we were still learning the ropes as we went. As expected, Sasha was doing a wonderful job. She made our workload shrink significantly by organizing issues and documents before they were passed over to us, which meant we also had a little more free time on our hands.
And for the first Sunday since this whole mess started, I would get to enjoy the day with my mate without worrying about anything else.
