Hearing Zaira’s words, Ares choked up.
“What the f**k! Hell no, that isn’t what I meant, you dumbass!” Ares growled.
Zaira sighed in relief. Her mind her taken a strange direction for a moment there. Logically speaking, Ares would actually never have such thoughts.
“Sorry, my mind went to a weird place for a moment there. You said we should create a mate for me? How?” Zaira asked, perplexed. There weren’t many people in the pack who were even fond of her, talk less of wanting to be close to her.
“Someone will act as your mate for the main time. It’ll be a temporary fix until we figure out other things.” Ares suggested.
