As Zaira stood on the stage and watched people cheer from below it, she had a novel feeling. This was the first time that such a large amount of people had looked at her with other emotions than disgust and curiosity. They looked at her with fervour and pride that symbolized the pack.
‘Although I still rather get down from this stage like right now! I can feel my cheeks redining and it definitely wasn’t because of the cool breeze. Argh! Why does the Alpha still need me here? Am I not done with my part, you guys can share in the glory here together! I don’t wanna be here!’ Zaira internally cried as she gazed into the crowd, trying to look for anything to distract herself.
