I froze. My arm which was intertwined with my mother’s arm stiffened. I knew she could feel it. I looked up at the person who had made such a comment.
It was a man. And he was tall. Really tall. I had to strain my neck up to actually see his face. I believe he was 6’7” or thereabout.
Definitely a contrast to my mother’s small build, or my body’s smaller build.
The man had rough facial features and he currently had a smirk on his face.
I felt intimidated by his gaze so I gripped my mother’s arms tightly. I didn’t know who this man was, yet, he scared me. He has a frightening aura around him. I glanced at my mom and noticed she had a calm expression on her face, although she had a frown on, she was still calm.
