“Why does it seem like the beast is going away from the pack and not towards it? Based on what we have seen, it’s leaving the area.” Kane furrowed his brows as he thought about it.
“And from the looks of things, it was the same beast, or at least the same variant of beasts escaping.” Jordan pointed out.
“But why the hell would it?” Ares questioned. His question was met with silence.
No one knew what was going on.
“Let us head back first. We have been out here for too long. We shall find out more when we regroup with others. Perhaps they have found other important clues.” Kane said as he glanced around. He had a weird feeling about what was going on.
