Derek I watched in horror as Levi and Xander flanked Valerie, protecting her from a mass of vampires that had gathered. But I couldn't watch very long, not before I was hit from behind, again. This challenge was dragging out. I needed to end this and fast, before something happened to Valerie. Damien hasn't slipped up since he laughed early in our battle. If I could make him think he had the upper hand, maybe he would slip up again. That might be my only shot. I took a few more hits, exaggerating my reaction on each.
