Derek I walked into the hotel, leaving my keys with the valet, following along with the crowd to get to the ballroom where our company's winter party was being held. The moment we entered, people were gasping in delight at the beauty before them. Valerie did a marvelous job decorating for the occasion. I scanned the room in search of her, my eyes finding her in the far corner of the room, straightening out her dress. She seemed a bit nervous. She looked flawless. Like an angel sent down from heaven. She grabbed her drink and began going around the room from person to person, probably making sure everyone was having a good time. "Mate would be a good luna..." Dean chimed in. He wasn't wrong. She planned an extravagant event in only about two weeks, and she was playing hostess quite well
