Hope is a waking dream - Aristotle With the card in hand, I swipe it at the entrance, then enter the bathroom. Yeah, I wonder how long it would take before he'd come in and get me. I probably don't want to know the answer to that. Washing my hands, I notice his toothbrush hanging under a blue light. I pick it up, find the toothpaste, then brush my teeth. When done, I rinse it off and hang it back up before walking out of the bathroom. He stands when I enter the room. I guess chivalry isn't dead. Butterflies dance in my belly the closer I come to the couch. His smoldering eyes watch my every move. Sitting, I draw my legs up onto the couch and hug them to my chest. He slides closer, pressing his thigh against mine. My heartbeat quickens. "What do you want to discuss?" My voice cracks.
