Raven rolled over and reached for Liam only to find empty space. She opened her eyes and looked around in the dark. She sat up realizing she was alone. The bright red numbers from the clock on the nightstand told her it was still quite late. It was incredibly dark in the country with no street lights to illuminate the night. She had no idea where Liam could have gotten to.
Rave climbed out of bed and pulled on a pair of shorts and one of Liam’s t-shirts to go look for him. She held her hands out in front of her to feel her way and stop from bumping into things as she felt her way around the house.
