Next week is better, in Robin’s opinion as she doesn’t see Wilder that much and feels as if she is living alone. This is good, she thinks. I have the place for myself and a nice break of seeing him every day.
Even though they have been occupying the same house and she has petted his wolf and he has kissed her lips, Robin still felt really distant to Wilder. That was good, considering their situation and the fact that Robin hated knowing new people.
If the rules were different she wouldn’t even acknowledge Wilder’s existence it was easier to her that way than to start trusting a total stranger and getting into a bet with him.
