Emma As the footsteps got closer, my heart started beating faster. The silver was suppressing my wolf, making my enhanced senses all out of whack. I couldn’t quite pick up their scents like I usually could, but I could smell rogues for sure, and there was something else mixed in that I couldn’t quite figure out. It smelled familiar. The footsteps slowed just outside my cell before three figures came into view. My eyes widened, and I could only focus on one of the three figures standing in front of me, Cole. It couldn’t be him.
