I sigh in disappointment when I wake up to an empty bed. Well, not totally empty. There's a tray of breakfast waiting and I pick up a morning roll to feel it's still hot. How did I miss him? I never do hear him get up. I scarf down the rolls, eggs, and ham before walking leisurely to the bathroom. Is it petty to stay in my room all day just to avoid my new guard? Maybe. Nonetheless, I start the heat on the wooden tub and throw half a container of red rose petals inside. Draven surprised me with them a few days ago and I'm ecstatic to see if I actually come out smelling of roses. When the water is warm enough, I did my body in and sigh in content.
