Kairon's POV (suprise!!!)
"Are these two bothering you?"
I look between princess Luca and the rotten faced couple.
I receive a 'no' in answer and watch the man and woman look extremely offended as I ask a
guard to escort them out as Luca says they're leaving.
By the time I turn around, Luca is already fifteen feet away. I roll my eyes. She always gets into
trouble and I've only had to accompany her for a couple days.
"Princess!" I call running up to her and guiding her in another direction.
"You need to get to the head of the toasting table. The reckoning is about to begin."
Her soft face drops and her eyes turn sad. I want to comfort her, but I know it's not my place.
