CAINE immediately stopped from walking and looked up at me. The supposed to be smile that pulled the corners of his red lips vanished as his eyes travelled across my body. Then he mouthed.
“What the f**k?!” His face literally turns upset.
“Uh-oh. Mommy, the grumpy fucker is here,” I said to my Mom.
“Okay then. I’ll call again. Keep your ears on the phone; your Dad will call you later. Drink your milk, baby. Mommy loves you. Call me if you need me, anak ha. Mag-ingat ka at sabihin mo kay Kiko, alagaan ka.” Bilin niya.
Her voice cracked and I knew she almost wanted to cry.

“Oh Mom, please don’t cry. I love you so much. I miss you and Daddy and Kuya.” I replied but never pulled back my gaze that was plastered on Caine.
