The Doctor Comes to the Door

Lina��s face reddened instantly and her heartbeat accelerated again.

Although Adrian was a little cold in nature, in all fairness, he was really kind to her.

Whether it was food or other things, Adrian never treated her harshly. Although she didn��t ask for too much, but whenever she did, Adrian always immediately responded to her requests.

Adrian's heart ached when he heard the familiar voice come from downstairs.

It was a photo of a girl.

Adrian took a deep breath and dialed the assistant's number.

"Contact doctor William and ask him to come to the villa."

"Yes, Mr. Evans. When should I ask him to come?"

"Immediately."

Adrian hung up the phone, stood at the corner of the stairs and looked downstairs.

He could vaguely hear the voice coming from downstairs, but he couldn't see the person who was speaking. He also didn't have the urge to look.

He just stood silently for a while, until he heard footsteps coming from downstairs. Only then did he turn around and enter the study.

Aunt Mary had started preparing the dinner long ago, and there was nothing much for Lina to do.

She only had to work with Aunt Mary in the kitchen for a while to finish it all. After the dinner was prepared, she was reminded by Aunt Mary to go upstairs and call Adrian down for dinner.

Lina went upstairs with some nervous anticipation and stood outside the door of Adrian's study. The little deer kept jumping in her heart.

Lina's heart beat a little faster as she pushed open the door. "Adrian, dinner is ready."

Her cheeks couldn't help heating up and this made her feel as if her relationship with Adrian was really close.

Adrian put down the document in his hand, "Got it."

"Then... I'll go down first."

Lina went downstairs as if she was escaping something. Her cheeks were flushed and the corners of her lips could not be restrained from rising into a smile.

She and Aunt Mary put the food on the table. Adrian was already seated.

He didn't have the habit of talking when he was eating. This was something that Lina came to know about Adrian.

She sat at the table and ate quietly while the little deer was still pounding in her heart. At this moment, Adrian opened his mouth unexpectedly.

"You are not pregnant now, so you don't need to go to study in country M. I will ask the assistant to give you some materials of the course tomorrow. You can take a look at it carefully, and I will arrange for you to join the company."

Lina was overjoyed and wanted to thank him subconsciously, but thinking of Adrian's previous words, she smiled and replied, "Okay".

She couldn't help but look at Adrian, and finally summoned up the courage to pick up a piece of fish with her chopsticks and put it into Adrian's bowl.

After closing the door, she followed behind them, wondering whether she should go upstairs to her room or go to the kitchen to help Aunt Mary.

"Ava, this is Doctor William."

Adrian's voice came, and he was already standing behind Lina.

Lina was overjoyed again, and the excitement that had been extinguished before began to stir again.

Although Adrian said that her role as his girlfriend was to deal with the pressure of marriage from his family, so far, Lina has never seen a single family member and Adrian has not yet disclosed the relationship between the two of them to anyone.

Lina was stunned and looked at Adrian in confusion.

But Adrian ignored her, looked at the doctor and continued, "Doctor William, please sit."

"Okay." Doctor William responded.

Lina's hand was warm as it was held by Adrian.

She couldn't react properly as Adrian pulled her hand to make her sit on the sofa stiffly.

"Miss Jones, please face forward and let me take a look at your face." Doctor William said politely.

"Please wait!" Lina said, turning her head to look at Adrian in shock.

"You want me to undergo the operation and change my appearance?"

No matter how stupid she was, she can still clearly understand the current situation.

"Your appearance will cause some trouble as it did before, and I think it is still necessary to make appropriate changes."
