CHAPTER 4Karla found Ryan's mother, Anne Doyle a pleasant quiet lady in her mid-sixties but wasn't so impressed with her husband, Alan who came across as a pushy extroverted sort. They arrived on Sunday afternoon and within half an hour Alan had unrolled a gigantic map over the kitchen table. It showed a surveyed map of Top Plateau and the immediate surrounding area with the school on the left and the northern farm boundary at the top.
