“What did you just call her?” I heard Juliet say in this belief.
I could understand what she was feeling right now because I also can't believe Evans called me his mate right in public. What exactly is wrong with him? Is he trying so hard to get his mother's trust that he had to say that right in front of everyone because we were now surrounded by a large audience.
I looked at my friends. They all had mixed emotions. Nate and Smith looked both proud and happy while Angel and Maria looked surprised like me although I could see a little spark of excitement in Angel's eyes.
